Recently, Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province and Beijing Shenzhou Judian New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. successfully signed a project to produce a large-capacity, solid-state polymer power lithium battery with an annual output of 10GWh.
It is understood that the project plans to invest a total of 6 billion yuan, covering a total area of 1,500 acres. The first phase of the project is planned to invest 2 billion yuan, covering an area of 500 acres, and the construction period is 18 months; the second phase of the project is planned to invest 4 billion yuan, the construction period is 18 months and covers an area of 1,000 acres.
After the project is fully produced, it is expected to realize annual sales revenue of 15 billion yuan and annual tax revenue of more than 900 million yuan.
The data shows that Shenzhou Judian New Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd. is a large-scale polymer lithium-ion power battery enterprise integrating production, research and sales. The company's products are mainly used in military ships, various weapons and equipment, bus electric buses, electric New green power sources such as automobiles, electric motorcycles, and electric bicycles, as well as various mobile communication base stations and power grids and other energy-saving and environmentally friendly power sources.
In fact, solid-state batteries have been recognized as the key technology for the development of next-generation high-security, high-specific-energy lithium (ion) batteries.
It is understood that solid electrolyte materials are non-flammable, non-corrosive, non-volatile, etc., which not only can overcome the problem of liquid leakage, but also hope to overcome the problem of lithium dendrites. At the same time, the insulation of the solid electrolyte makes it possible to block the positive electrode of the battery from the negative electrode, thereby effectively avoiding the hidden danger of short circuit caused by the contact between the positive electrode and the negative electrode.
Based on this, solid-state batteries have gradually been favored by people in the industry in recent years. According to Wu Fan, an associate researcher at the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, there are currently 46 companies and institutions that deploy solid-state batteries globally.
Domestically, Chinese lithium battery companies including Qingtao Energy, Huineng Technology, Ganfeng Lithium, Wanxiang One Two Three, Weilan New Energy, Jiawei Co., Ltd., Judian New Energy, etc. are currently actively laying out production lines or even Has been put into production.
Internationally, Toyota, Nissan Renault, and GM are also developing and deploying solid-state batteries at the fast pace, and even many car companies including Ford, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Hyundai have begun to pay attention to solid-state battery technology.
It can be seen that the development of solid-state batteries has become a new trend in the future of battery development. Under this background, the large-scale deployment of solid-state batteries by Shenzhou Judian may be expected to bring a new round of scale benefits to the company.
